7th INTERNATIONAL
COMPETITION OF YOUNG MUSICIANS
“OHRID PEARLS”- OHRID

The seventh international competition of young musicians “Ohrid Pearls” will take place in Ohrid
from 16 - 20 June 2008

 
 
There are two disciplines:
 
 
  • Piano
 
 
  • Violin

RULES:
____________________________________________________________
1. The competition is public without any compensation for radio and
TV broadcasting including internet transmission. Snapshots are in permanent authority of the
Organization which is going to use them is according his needs.
2. All compositions must be played by heart.       
3. The prizes will be awarded to one competitor only
4. The rounds of the competition are of eliminatory character.
5. It is not Aloud repeating one composition in 2 stages. The competitor by the request of the organization is obligated to give the full score of the composition what is performing

      A - Category
     First prize Gold medal
     Second and third prize – medal

     B - Category
     First prize Gold medal and                 100 euro
     Second and third prize – medal

     C - Category
     First prize Gold medal and                200 euro
     Second and third prize – medal

     D - Category
     First prize Gold medal and              1000 euro
     Second and third prize – medal


GRAND PRIX   “OHRID PEARLS”

The best violinist will get a four years scholarship, 5000 dollars each
year, or two years
  Master at the University of San Francisco – USA
The prizes will be awarded at the final concert where the firs prizes winners
will perform
